Since spring 2021, the French government has been working on a major heritage project: the restoration of part of the Château d'Angers enclosure. This work will have an impact on the openness of the monument:

• The northern section of the wall walk (above the entrance to the monument) running from the mill tower through the kitchen garden and vineyard to the hanging garden is temporarily inaccessible to the public.
