Following the terror attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015, the château d’Angers is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities to ensure visitor safety, while remaining open as usual.

It is strongly recommended not to bring suitcases and luggage to the monument. Only luggage not exceeding 40 x 40 x 20cm can be accepted.

Suitcases and large luggage are not allowed, neither bicycles nor scooters.

Any belongings whatsoever can be kept by the château d’Angers during your visit. If needed, left-luggage can be found at the tourist information center nearby.
